Nursing Supports Across All Services

RSI is one of very few providers that integrates nursing care in all levels of support. Our Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) play a key role in RSI services.

During the initial screening, nurses help determine the best placement and services for each person based on their medical needs. They coordinate ongoing care and act as a liaison between outside medical and psychiatric professionals and care teams.

An RSI nurse is available via phone 24/7 to provide nursing consultation to staff. They have online access to electronic patient records to help assess medical needs and guide staff in determining care.

Quality nursing services minimize the need for individuals to visit the clinic or hospital and allow them to live as independently as possible in the setting they desire.

This level of care is part of our commitment to providing services to all people with disabilities, including those who are medically fragile or have complex medical needs. Because we have on-staff nurses, we can support most people who need routine medical procedures or who have complicated medical regimens and medical equipment needs.
