Your Experience Matters To Us

RSI is committed to providing quality services. Our bi-annual satisfaction survey is just one way that we gather feedback to help us assess and maintain the highest level of care possible.

The following summary is based on RSI’s 2016 survey results. The feedback below is reflective of our services in RSI’s supported living settings, ICF/DD, board and lodge and in-home program. The feedback below includes responses from both people we support and their team members.

Survey Results

Surveys were received from 198 stakeholders, who are primarily persons receiving services, family members, guardians, and case managers. Survey questions addressed numerous areas, including staff responsiveness to ideas and concerns, communication of information, appearance and maintenance of the household, and the well-being of the people we support.

Strengths:

  • People have opportunities to make their own decisions
  • Privacy is respected
  • Support plans reflect his/her life interests
  • People are satisfied with the service delivery in their home

Quality Improvement Plan

Though the vast majority of survey responses were positive, RSI identified areas to target for quality improvement. The primary focus is on implementing person-centered practices with the people we support and our employees. We believe this focus will help us best address the opportunities for improvement.

Opportunities for Improvement:

  • Allowing people more choice about who they live with and where they live
  • Sense of social connection and interaction within the community
  • Supports are built around a person’s strengths and desires
