About RSI Lotus Grace
Located on a serene 20-acre hobby farm in Cambridge, MN, RSI’s Lotus Grace IRTS & RCS setting is designed to support up to five adults. The mission at Lotus Grace is to assist in addressing mental health in our community by providing services aimed to meet the immediate support needs of people experiencing mental health crises in a licensed residential setting rather than hospitals or through incarceration. Our unique nature-based setting, complete with a variety of farm animals, creates a peaceful environment for healing, growth, and recovery.
About Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS)
IRTS offers a community-based, medically monitored level of care for adults, emphasizing the use of evidence-based practices to support people in their recovery journey. Our dedicated team of qualified mental health staff is available on-site 24/7 to provide comprehensive assistance. The program focuses on achieving psychiatric stability, fostering personal and emotional adjustment, promoting self-sufficiency, and cultivating skills essential for transitioning to a more independent setting with a targeted date of discharge.
About Residential Crisis Stabilization Services (RCS)
RCS at Lotus Grace offers a structured and supportive short-term residence for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. The purpose of the service is to ensure a safe return to their home or pre-crisis living environment, with additional support as identified in the person’s crisis assessment. The 24-hour licensed residential setting is staffed by qualified and compassionate mental health staff and peer support specialists who assist in providing the necessary support for a safe transition back to a stable living environment.
Animal Husbandry & Nature-Based Therapeutic Supports
One of the signature initiatives at Lotus Grace is our Adopt an Animal program. This program recognizes the profound impact that animal companionship can have on mental well-being, where program participants select an animal to care for throughout the week and experience the joy of animal companionship and build self-confidence as they take on the responsibilities of feeding, watering, and stall maintenance.
